Plastic Surgery Undressed turns its attention to the UK’s most popular cosmetic procedure, the boob job. Sophie is 24 and has always hated her boobs. Now she’s paying surgeon Amir Nakhdjevani to give her the breasts, and the confidence, she has always wanted. And four potential surgery seekers are getting a ringside view of the entire procedure. They are all accompanied by a friend or family member who has their own views on their operation plans. Amber used to scrape the boobs off her Barbie because she didn’t look the same, while Shaunine says her breasts never grew in the first place and she has always known she would have surgery. Part-time model Chealsie can’t book glamour and lingerie shoots with her current cup size, but her father, Rab, thinks she’s perfect - and that bigger boobs will only attract the wrong kind of attention from men. Imani feels there is pressure within her community to have an hourglass figure, even though surgery itself is quite a taboo subject.
