At Altrincham Recycling Centre, trash connoisseur Jay Blades roots around the car boots trying to find some hidden gems he can rescue and revamp. With three items salvaged, Jay enlists the help of metal maestros Bex and Dave to transform mattress springs into something special, while woodworking wonder Norman Wilkinson is tasked with bringing an old writing bureau up to date. Jay finds a creative new use for a broken granite worktop, but will all three transformations be successful - and will they be off to new homes?
