Lauren's ruse finally falls through, with Peter Tay deviously manipulating her and her stepfather Colin. After his misstep at the KS Foods factory, Michael is transferred to work at the office so that Kwong San and Xue Ling can keep a close watch on him. Meanwhile, Arjun and Ann's fake relationship has crossed new and dangerous boundaries, with Arjun now worried about damaging his mother's hopes when the eventual break-up occurs.
