An unusual documentary series that delves into human dramas through chance encounters with ordinary people at selected spots. Filmed over 72 hours in a single location, the show captures glimpses into people's lives as they open up and share their stories. Japanese Broadcast Version

A huge housing complex with 7,000 households is the setting for this project. The Hanamigawa Danchi in Chiba City was built in 1968. With rents cheaper than those in central Tokyo, something has begun to change recently, as new residents join the old residents. Some have moved in after retirement, others are busy renovating their rooms, and some run stores in the shopping district of the complex. People from all walks of life are living in the same group of buildings. We spent three days walking around the mammoth complex and listened to the voices of the people we met.
