Laura Hollis, a newly enrolled college student at Silas University, shares a room with Betty, who mysteriously disappears all of a sudden. Her ex-roomy slash ex-girlfriend contacts her - only to decline being the hero once more. Laura has to accept it, and leaves to help Danny and the others - only to miss Carmilla's second last call.
