Armed Reaction is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung and Esther Kwan as the main leads with Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Mimi Chu and Joe Ma in main supporting roles. The drama takes place before 1997 Handover of Hong Kong and Royal Hong Kong Police revolves around the lives of two police woman, one who works leisurely behind desk duty but has to take her job more seriously once her husband leaves her and a new rookie cop who is deemed too ambitious and rash by her superior.

CHING lies to SANG that she is pregnant to test if he will be responsible for her. He suddenly proposes to her which pleases her. They discuss with their families about the wedding arrangement. SA finds some pictures of FUNG and WING on the Internet and is very upset. He tries to explain to her and asks for her forgiveness. FUNG re-investigates WING’s case. He finds something suspicious with the photo which proves CHOI’s absence at the crime scene. It is proved later that the photo is a fake. CHI is confused after learning that SANG is going to get married. KEN asks the Forensic to re-examine all evidence of WING’s case. SANG accompanies CHI to buy some cookery books and bump into CHING and FAI. CHING finds a killer’s hair inside some of the evidence. CHOI foresees that KEN will find some new evidence, so he fakes a kidnap. CHING tidies SANG’s flat and throws away a lot of old items.… ...
