Armed Reaction is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung and Esther Kwan as the main leads with Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Mimi Chu and Joe Ma in main supporting roles. The drama takes place before 1997 Handover of Hong Kong and Royal Hong Kong Police revolves around the lives of two police woman, one who works leisurely behind desk duty but has to take her job more seriously once her husband leaves her and a new rookie cop who is deemed too ambitious and rash by her superior.

MUI falls ill. CHING volunteers to take care of her and the restaurant. SANG panics when she treats his family well. SANG tells HUNG that he is not prepared to marry CHING. HUNG advises him to delay the wedding. He feels horrible when he remembers the good time with CHI and his hesitation over CHING. CHOI loses a big contract and swears to take revenge on FUNG. He poses some intimate pictures of FUNG and WING on a magazine in order to ruin his credibility. KEN asks FUNG to take some leaves. Some reporters bother FUNG. Luckily, YUEN defenses him which he is very grateful for. CHI asks SANG to show her some cooking in order to please KEN and he agrees. SANG still has feelings over CHI and he feels bad seeing her loving KEN so much.
