Armed Reaction is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. CHI loses her mobile phone. KEN buys her a new one to please her. She invites him for dinner to thank him. During the dinner, she is upset that SANG has not called her for it is her birthday. Meanwhile, the birthday music starts and KEN celebrates with her. She gets drunk. When KEN sends her home, SANG thinks that he is rude to her and tries to punch him. She stops him in time. She suggests breaking up with him for he does not trust her. SUNNIE recombines some burnt paper, which reveals TUNG’s account book for the illegal gambling activities. KAI takes up all the charges. However, TUNG still worries that he will betray him and sends a hit man to kill him, but fails. KAI decides to turn around to be the police witness. TUNG suspects that there is an insider who tells the police about his plan to kill KAI. WING tells FUNG TUNG’s movement which arouses his suspicion over her intention.
