Armed Reaction is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. The drama takes place before 1997 Handover of Hong Kong and Royal Hong Kong Police revolves around the lives of two police woman, one who works leisurely behind desk duty but has to take her job more seriously once her husband leaves her and a new rookie cop who is deemed too ambitious and rash by her superior.

KEN is a playboy. He likes to pursue models and actresses. His name often appears on magazines. Therefore, some reporters take pictures of him and CHI walking together. SANDY is an actress. She tells a magazine that CHI has stolen KEN from her. When CHI is stopped by some reporters in front of the police station, SANDY humiliates her in public. Her boss LEE is annoyed and assigns her a desk job. KEN is sorry for her punishment. CHI learns that SANG and SUNNIE have been to a love hotel and scolds him of unfaithful. FUNG receives some intelligence and wipes out TUNG’s illegal gambling business. KAI wants to destroy some evidence against TUNG, but is arrested. SANG begs for CHI’s forgiveness. Meanwhile, SUNNIE appears and CHI leaves with jealousy. CHI joins a rock climbing class. Coincidently, KEN is her tutor. She is thrilled when she gets to the top of the mountain.
