Armed Reaction is a 1998 Hong Kong modern cop drama produced by TVB. The drama stars Bobby Au-yeung and Esther Kwan as the main leads with Joyce Tang, Marco Ngai, Mimi Chu and Joe Ma in main supporting roles. The drama takes place before 1997 Handover of Hong Kong and Royal Hong Kong Police revolves around the lives of two police woman, one who works leisurely behind desk duty but has to take her job more seriously once her husband leaves her and a new rookie cop who is deemed too ambitious and rash by her superior.

CHI stops a driver who runs through a roadblock. Apparently, the driver is CHUNG, who used to be a Traffic Police Officer. SANG meets BING again during the ‘Burning Rose’ operation. He falls down and is hurt when he chases her for CHI’s whistle, while she escapes. The operation is very successful. KEN calls for a press conference. FUNG’s subordinates are annoyed that KEN only takes the credits and does not care about SANG. CHI is worried when she learns that SANG is hurt. When he presents her the whistle, she is delighted. He proposes to her, but is turned down. She wants to get married after she is promoted. A prostitute KIU tells KEN that SANG lets BING go for the whistle. KEN asks SAN for an explanation. CHI and SANG look for BING. CHUNG visits CHI and tells her that he is now working as a reporter for a pornographic website, so she asks him to help looking for BING.
