The drama takes place before 1997 Handover of Hong Kong and Royal Hong Kong Police revolves around the lives of two police woman, one who works leisurely behind desk duty but has to take her job more seriously once her husband leaves her and a new rookie cop who is deemed too ambitious and rash by her superior.

Ngo disappeared on the day of the wedding. When Sheng finally found her, she jumped onto Chiu’s taxi and asked him to drive her away. Chiu helped Ngo lose Sheng. Ngo went to live in a relative house temporarily. Kei was attacked by the serial rapist when she went home. Luckily, Kwan and Hong came to her rescue and the rapist managed to flee. Ding suspected Ping’s friend Sing was related to the case. He decided to go to Sing’s place and search. They couldn’t find Sing but discovered a dead body. They then tried to learn of the body’s real identity. Sheng regretted his words when he learnt that Ngo was going back to Canada. Mui changed Yuen’s pills but was discovered by Yuen. Yuen was so angry that she told her that she had no birth giving plans yet. Feng then quarreled with Yuen over this. Ngo was leaving and Sheng tried to catch her before she boarded the plane. However, he had an accident and could not arrive in time.… ...
