Two years ago, Melinda sat with Dr. Phil and said she’d do anything to protect her teenage daughter, Cassidy. Now, she’s back and says Cassidy’s behavior has worsened. Cassidy is now 20 and insists her mother’s inability to be a real parent is the root of all their problems. Cassidy claims her mother is selfish and acts like a young, party mom. Melinda says she has a confession that surprises both Cassidy and Dr. Phil. Plus, Dr. Phil investigates an outrageous scam that left Jim and his wife, Carol’s, home unlivable for years, after they claim they were introduced to a career contractor con man.
