Urmi asks her husband Ankit to stop flying the kite and get ready as they had to go visit her mother and the rest of her family. but, Ankit says that he is least interested to visit them as he is treated as a servant rather than a son-in-law. After reaching their house, Jignesh, Urmi's brother collects a bag of medicines from Ankit and walks away. Seeing this, Ankit says that he hates Jignesh and wishes to see him dead. Minutes later, everyone in the house hears a huge explosion in the terrace. When they rush to see what caused the explosion, they see Jignesh on fire. Suresh and Ankit become the prime suspects.
