The story follows Avli and Dadarao, a couple from Dongav Boodruk village. Dadarao, a two-term Sarpanch deeply rooted in politics, believes his wife Avli an educated yet modest homemaker lacks understanding. When the Sarpanch seat is reserved for OBC women, he reluctantly nominates her. After Avli wins, she gradually realises her strength and responsibilities, taking charge of village affairs while balancing her household.
