However, he warns her that he will not follow in their footsteps. Having taken refuge in a convent after the disappointment she experienced and after the argument with her grandmother and brother, Alba is impatient to know who saved her from drowning in the river. Given the debts she owed Leonel, Covadonga asks for an extension to settle them. During the conversation, she doesn't hide her doubts about Julia's sudden death.
