Nut Boltu is based on the incidents and activities of two kids named Nut and Boltu, who are around 10 years old. They are two mischievous boys, one stout and one thin; who are always there for each other through thick and thin. They always volunteer to solve others' problems, but due to their individuality and unique thinking, they always get into some trouble or the other. Eventually, their friendship, honesty, and belief help them solve the problems.

The two friends Nut and Boltu have escaped from their neighborhood playground after breaking the window pane. After which they headed towards the main road and spotted a broken down tram. The two friends boarded inside the tram and playfully wanted to test their riding skills. However, the tram collided with a car and ultimately they landed inside the police station!
