Alma is a 19-year-old Bolivian girl. One night she decides to leave La Paz and return to her native Cochabamba, tired of her boyfriend Roberto, who mistreats her. Roberto will soon go looking for her and try to convince her to resume her relationship. He promises her that she will change from her, that he will treat her with love and give her more freedom; but Alma hesitates, not only because she is tired of being reduced to a mere object by her ex-partner, but also because she begins to feel something more than friendship for a childhood friend, Mila.
