Twelve Competitors are introduced to Meltdown by host Trevor Collins who divides the group into two teams, Fire vs. Ice. The competitors familiarize themselves with their environments at basecamp while looking for allies before heading to the Puzzle Rush Challenge. The losing team must then face the Chopping Block, where the island claims its first victim.

Brrrr! 10 Competitors advance to play a snowy variation on an Achievement Hunter classic, Snowbound. The losing team heads back to camp and strategizes on who should be eliminated. One unlucky competitor gets to test the temperatures of the core’s lava at the chopping block.

Teams are switched up as 9 competitors move on to compete in the Buried Treasure Challenge. New alliances must be made before the losers head to the Chopping Block.

It’s brains over brawn as 8 Competitors square off in the Temple Trivia challenge. The losing team (aka the dumbest team) votes on who will take a dive into the lava at the Chopping Block.

In the shocking season finale, the four remaining competitors face off in the Riddle Relay Challenge for the last opportunity to win the helmet of kingdoms and receive safety from the final Chopping Block. A jury of their peers then decides who among the 3 finalists should be crowned the champion of Survive Block Island Meltdown!
