Kartikeya's education

Maa Parvati starts the hard training of her son Kartikeya and everyone is shocked to see her in this avatar. They never imagined seeing a mother behaving in such a harsh manner with her child, but they are unaware of the real reason behind this. Maa Parvati and Kartikeya have a battle of wits when Lord Mahadev assists Kartikeya which upsets Maa Parvati as she believes that if they let their love for him overpower the purpose of the training it will be of no use.
