Shiina begins to tease the carefree Tokita. In the dispatch room, Misato begins to size up newcomer Arira. As the investigation stalls, Isayama and Ichijo, hired on an illegal website, meet in a warehouse.

At the stakeout, a bored Tokita and Shiina talk about Arira from the dispatch room. Misato discovers Arira's violent side and tries not to upset her, but accidentally reveals a big secret. At the warehouse, Isayama and Ichijo are puzzled by the abducted Mari. Ichijo tries to give something to stimulate Isayama, and Tokita realizes he has lost something. The drug deal quietly moves along.
