The show debuted on PBS stations on September 3, 2007. The series airs on PBS Kids and PBS Kids Sprout in the USA, Kids' CBC in Canada. Thai PBS from Thailand broadcasts the shortened version, the episodes are 5 years behind the U.S.

Pig only has one toy car, but he wants lots more! Super Why and his friends fly into the story of a ruler with the golden touch and meet King Midas. The king may think that MORE is better, but all he ends up with is more problems! The reading heroes help King Midas, and Pig learns an important lesson about appreciation. Educational Objectives:To learn to be glad about what you have, discover the alphabet, identify the letters M, I, L, K., practice the magic of spelling, and use the power to read to change the story.
