In this episode, 20-year-olds Jack and Chloe from Aldershot have recently got engaged, but Chloe's mum Debra believes they are too young to get married. Rob, 38, and events manager Simon, 31, from Cambridgeshire, are one month away from getting hitched. This won't be Rob's first wedding. He was previously married to a woman, and since coming out six years ago, his parents have struggled to come to terms with their son's sexuality. Graduates Shaaba and Jamie, both 23 years old, from Colchester, are planning their engagement party. For Shaaba's mum Fai, the engagement isn't cause for celebration. Fai finds it hard to accept that her daughter is marrying someone who is transgender. In an attempt to break the deadlock, she agrees to meet Jamie face-to-face to talk about it. But the meeting doesn't go quite as planned.
