Through the spy cam, MAK SEI and the others know that the one with whom KO MAN has an affair turns out to be TAI-WAI. TAK-KEI attempts to mend fences with KA-KA, but she is not moved at all. TAI-WAI suddenly resigns and he even threatens KWOK-WAH that he will definitely take him down with him if anything happens to him, to which KWOK-WAH frankly discloses that he is going to turn himself in to his supervisor. While MAK SEI and OI-KIU return to the restaurant to ask the bartender about what actually happened regarding the incident, KWOK-WAH sneaks into TAI-WAI's office to download some information from his computer. However, he is shot when he goes to meet up with MAK SEI. On the other hand, MAK SEI's tongue injury ruins his sense of taste, yet he is still worrying about KWOK-WAH's injuries.
